Elsa Beskow had a wonderful gift of telling beautiful stories and creating breathtaking illustrations. Even though these stories and pictures were created long time ago, the essence of each story has a wonderful effect on children's imagination and provides them with some beautiful scenes to look at. In today's world of cartoons and groteske figurines it is good to know that there are still real picture books around that add value to a child's life and imagination.

aAlthough these books in large format and hardcover are not in the cheaper range it is a worthwhile investment as they last for a long time and can be handed down to the next generation. We love all her books and our home library is full, rich and alive with Elsa's creations.
