If this is what you need, then this book will help. It will help you to learn to 'give yourself a break' and be kind to yourself. Basicly Louise works with the theory that our thoughts and feelings influence our health and explains this convincingly. She recommends affirmations as a way of healing. Do try the affirmations daily for just one week then you'll see for yourself. I really enjoyed the back section where you can look up an ailment and see what emotion may be causing it. Give this book to anyone who is grumpy!
I really enjoyed this book because it was a great help and comfort during a difficult time. We all have grey moments in life, but this book help me discover that I can get through them, I don't need to become stuck in the past, life does move on and that I, myself, am powerful. We all go through rough times in life and this book does wonders to help you move on.
Oh, how I love this book! I have re read it numerous times to calm, soothe, heal. Louise Hay says that the basis of our unhappiness and problems is that we do not love and accept ourselves. She then proceeds to give great tips, tools, and exercises on how to do that....and they work! She speaks to the head and heart in very effective ways. Great stuff!
This book will help you feel empowered and in control of your life and the exercises and affirmations really work! Basically, Louise L. Hay is saying that our thoughts create our life, our health, our illnesses and our circumstances and relationships. (However, she never in the book makes us feel guilty or at fault for this). A simple concept really and not new, but here she gives clear instructions for actually making changes and improving our lives - and it's incredibly easy! It's almost too good to be true, but it actually works. Hay also suggests what thoughts and beliefs may underly specific physical illnesses and ailments and suggests opposite affirmations to use to correct them. A beautiful, simple, loving book. Highly Recommended!!!
This book changed my view of the life. Louise tells you that you are in charge of the life and the way you think influence the outcome. Makes you think twice about my thoughts pattern. Helps me to deal with difficult situations and look the life more positively. Well recommended reading!
This is an absolute amazing book! Once you have started reading it you do not want to put it down. Louise wrote this book already 1984 and what she is writing about seems to apply as much today as 1984. If you follow her simple excercises you will very soon have resolved emotional problems, cured illnesses and you will be on your way to a happier, healthier and more abundant life. Louise is very straight forward and she is using a language that is very easy to understand. Even if you only want to read one paragraph a day, you will still benefit from doing that. You can not change the past but you can certainly change the way you think and therefore create a happy future!
