I found this book gave me enough of an understanding to finally grasp h'oponpono,which I had been reading about online and watching youtube videos about for nearly a year... trying to grasp it...unsuccessfully until I read this book.
I now realize that it is very similar to the new findings from people like Gregg Braden on the zero point feild and several concepts of quantum physics findings, although I initally had trouble comprehending h'oponpono as it seemed to easy to be true.
I do believe that religious people that pray from the heart get amazing healing results, but to me this goes even further in effectiveness, for someone like me that is not religous such as myself.Even aethists can apply this knowledge and see results if they perservere... I just substitued the words "the divine" with " whatever is below the plank level that programmes reality" ( borrowed from digital quantum physics concepts )Please hear that this is just MY personal way and no critisizm intended to belivers and people of religious persuasions.. to me there is some unexplainable conciousness that we cannot fathom. Its just that I have problems using religious terms. whats exciting is it still works!!!
bIve used this process recently to alleviate my mothers paralysis of the arms hands and oesophogus, she was able to eat and swallow food again, after a few days of lots and lots of h'oponpono thinking and it was, I believe, thanks to reading this book and really taking in what it says and having a go at it that made so much difference. The MRI showed that she has had several strokes and so IM now trying to remember to 'apply' this new way of 'thinking' . I do believe that people like Greg Braden in his talks and books unveil the same knowledge but with different wording. Prayers can acheive the same results as Ive witnessed such things althoug I prefer to be non religious. From my own experimenting, I believe that there is definately a 'force' a 'conciousness' or 'power' that can affect 'miracles'. This book gave me what info I really needed to give trying out h'oponpono seriously and I just kept thinking and feeling love while I followed the suggested way in this book. Its easy reading style and explanations and stories are inspiring. I felt drawn to this without understanding what lay ahead... lucky our family has benefitted so much from this knowledge.
I do agree to some extent that Joe Vitalae has a very western business orientated mentality, although I cant recommend this book enough and end with suggesting not to throw the baby out with the bath water!
Very inspiring and practical. Who would have guess mentally reciting the following
"I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you" had allowed the clinical psychologist Dr Hew Len to heal the ward of criminally insane patients in the Hawaiian State Hospital back in the 1980's. I bought 6 copies of this book.
This is one amazing book!!!!! This is something for all humans wanting to be the best they can be and make their biggest contribution. This book has truly transformed my life, my purpose and relationships. If I only give one book to my friends, then this would be the one. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.....
What a great book for those people who are trying to get rid of negativity in their lives. The teachings of the book made perfect sense -and work. There was, however, a bit too much of a hard sell from the author for his other books and products, which detracted from the overall message. Which was a shame, as the beliefs the book illustrates has the abiltiy to make a person happier and more able to cope with anything that life throws at them.
