Follow in the foot steps of self-taught assassin Ezio Auditore as he sets out to hone his skills and avenge the unjust murder of his father and younger brother. Hunt your nemsis across several well known cities in Italy including Florence and Venice. Throughout the game several totems are left which remind you of the 1st game and an economy has been added too. The latter does have little use though, you spend money on weapons and armor of which the best is not bought and you can buy improvements to cities and houses which simply just provide you with more money in the end..

This game blew my mind. The story line is so intricate, so realistic, and so vastly controversial that this game deserves to be in the video game hall of fame. The AI has been redone to make enemies smarter, now they will actually look for you after you escape. the graphics are once again breathtaking. My mouth is open in awe every time I synchronize on top of a viewpoint. this is one of those game that truly pulls you in to the story and doesn't let you go until the game is complete. throughout the entire game, I felt like I WAS Ezio di Auditore de Firenze. That's how realistic the storyline felt. filled with action, betrayal, humor, fantastic graphics, and even some romance, Assassin's Creed II is not a game to be missed.

Assassins creed 2 follows on from the first. However a lot of things have changed. The mission structure has been changed so that missions directly continue after each other. There is a money system so you can buy different weapons, and you can dual wield two hidden blades. There are also hidden crypts, which are full of free running obstacles, and can easily take 30 minutes to finish. One negative about the free running system that I found was that it has become much more twitchy compared to the first. What i mean is you will often grab things you didn't intend to grab because you were holding the analogue stick in a slightly wrong way. I also noticed that the game quality of missions takes a nise dive within the last few hours, and then picks up in the last 30 minutes.
The game is good, but however it still suffers from the lack of replayability like the first.

Absolutely stunning. The visuals are terrific, the story is intriguing, and the combat is exciting. The climbing mechanic works perfectly. Almost any wall you approach, you'll be able to climb it. The game requires you to think carefully out an assassination and your escape route, which is makes the game rather challenging, tactically. One of the best games this year and far, far better than it's predecessor.
