This was my first alltime online game.True combat sim,which means you dont just point and shoot.Lifting up your crosshairs to hit enemies at medium to long range will get you there with practice.I often find online combat sims like this one more enjoyable,challenging and overall long lasting.A huge array of vehicles and weapon kits to earn to make your online battle one to be remembered.The single player game is your basic training for the online world,plenty of servers great servers still remain,enjoy

I remember when i first played battle field 2. Underwhelmed by the single player but overwhelmed by the multiplayer, as is the case with most of the battlefields if not all which I play. This one set the scene for the transition from old fps to destructive scene being the last notable fps before bad company literally blew away cover. The modern war theme worked well enough with extras being thrown in from the expansions in terms of guns and vechiles seriously lacking in the original game. A legacy game which I would no longer buy, simply because its online multiplayer, would be and has been, sucked dry by bad company 2 and modern warfare 2
