You may have thought, after fighting through blocks of Empire Stormtroopers throughout six of the Star Wars films, that would be it for the LEGO spinoff series. Well, you thought wrong - in this third adventure, Traveller’s Tales takes you through the offshoot storyline from The Clone Wars television series, all presented with the latest in toy brick rendering technology.
As with all LEGO adaptations this game does more than simply follow the plot of its source material. You’ll largely be fighting in the same sort of scenarios, but the family fun and comedy spin placed on the action will make this more of a light-hearted parody. Throw in some fan-favourite characters from the Star Wars films and you have a title which is faithful yet bold and original at the same time.
While the traditional LEGO-style adventure gameplay returns - run through various familiar scenes and battle countless enemies built from LEGO blocks, while collecting millions of studs along the way - there are some new twists in The Clone Wars too. A brand new battle mode allows you to experience head-to-head combat, while an upgraded level builder lets you build customised bases and in-game battlefields of your very own.
Play as either a Jedi or Separatist, grasp all of the new abilities each character has to offer, and tackle the universe in new ways with the new level hub. May the Force be with you.

I pre-ordered this game from amazon and I am happy to say that I'm very pleased. Lego really sets a high bar with this amazing game. As said in other reviews, you can choose to follow either Ventress, Dooku, and Grievous. These can be selected at the "hub". The games have great graphics and stunning fluidity of movement. Each Jedi moves like it really should, with lightsaber moves that vary with each character. For instance, Yoda moves with the usual jumps/spins, while Obi Wan slices one way, and Anakin another. Another great feature is the vast Republic and Separatist starships. When starting, you explore the Republic Crusier (seen on TV). To go to the level selection, you look at a hologram-projector. The game sets goals for you too. In order to explore everything available, you have to get gold bricks. (Obtained through Level Completion, "Minikit" collection, and "True Jedi" Status. I have gotten enough bricks to explore almost all of the Republic Ship. My favorite part is that you can jump into AT-RTs, AT-TEs, and other ground vehicles during the large ground battles. I don't want to spoil anymore! It is too good of a game to tell everything
