Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is a first-person reboot of the classic Hideo Kojima and Konami 'Snake Eater' game that graced the PlayStation 2 so successfully – this time for the Nintendo 3DS.

The game is set in a Soviet Jungle in 1964, two years after the Cuban missile crisis, and stars the ever-stealthy fighter, 'Snake'. This is not simply an espionage/stealth game, it's also one of survival.

Snake, if that’s who he really is, must infiltrate the jungle setting in order to rescue and return a scientist being held against his will. Starting on the outskirts of a military base, the player must use their stealth skills along with the foliage and shade of the jungle to achieve the goal. Using the 3DS's camera players can take a picture of real-life items and create a camo suit based on them.
