This is a un-timed hidden object game with a small amount of basic item interaction although it stops short of being an actual click and point adventure. There are also a fair number of puzzles which, for the most part, are not very challenging.
The artwork is not the best I've seen and appears a little fuzzy in places. Many items are sometimes very hard to discern as they are either quite miniscule and/or not that well drawn but thankfully, the scenes aren't overcrowded. The size, scale, placement and orientation of a lot of items have also been altered to add to the challenge however, the hints are accurate and unlimited although they do take a while to recharge. All in all it makes for an interesting, if eye straining, time.
Most scenes look quite gothic and, together with the spooky incidental sounds, make for a very atmospheric experience.
