Playing out set after set on a variety of grass, clay and hard court venues from England to Russia the player will use a control system that enables a range of shots including sliced forehand and backhands, super accurate serves, smashes and drop volleys.
A host of unlocks and downloadable content also keeps the game fresh.

This Tennis experience really has given me something new. After playing Virtua Tennis 2009 ( I know there really is no comparison, because they are 2 very different games ),and playing this, I feel so much better playing this. With the inability to hit Forced/Unforced errors on VT, it really made me upset. But on Top Spin 4, if you make it to a ball at a wrong time, then try to lob it as well, you'll end up getting some kind of error! I never played Top Spin 3, so I can't say what is or isn't better about this one, but I did play the demo. I didn't like the demo anymore after playing this... The controls were to light and it didn't feel like I was controlling my character. But on Top Spin 4, it's completely different but that is alright.
