The official remote form nintendo and if you need an extra or are replacing a broken or lost remote I would recommend no other remote, 3rd party products simply don't work as well as the originals due to the lack of capital for R&D. The wii remote is the principal motion sensor and works great with the wii motion plus, the tracking is accurate and there are no issues with gaming. Great for younger audiences or entry level gamers.

This is an essential item for the wii console and the motion control system separates it from other gaming systems on the market. The point and click function make it great for the kids. The syncretisation of the remote and the console ensure quick wireless play. With 4 players being able to be involved in most games you can never have too many controllers.
