A fantastic book for initiating discussion with kids. My daughter, at about age 4, found it at childcare and wouldn't put it down, so we bought her own copy. She had been backward with expressive language but really blossomed when reading this book with us. Now nearly 6 this is still her favorite. Lovely bright, detailed visuals in a kind of cartoon style, illustrate different places, occupations, clothing items, furnishings,fun activities, modes of transport, people and finally beds.This makes it good as a bedtime reader as kids seem to lvoe books that end with Good night. I favour the four poster while Miss 5 consistently claims the pink princecess bed. The edition we bought included stickers to add to two stories with gaps so you could make up your own taleWQEWEQWEE
