This is an awful film. I don't know how much of this is the true story of Jackie Kallen and how much is made up for cinematic purposes, but the whole thing stinks. Sporting cliches abound, and Meg Ryan as a boxing promoter? Oh puh-lease. Fans of the TV show "House" might get a kick out of seeing Omar Epps - he's ok I guess. But the movie is just a bunch of boring scenes and a hackneyed story line. Avoid.
