Synopsis

Nope, not a fan. It came out the same time as Troy did, and looks like a high school production next to it. It might be about a Great, but it certainly wasn’t great. I think I feel asleep the first time I watched it. Really doesn’t inspire you with the story of Alexandra at all. I’m not sure what the craptasticness of the movie can be pin pointed to, but I wouldn’t spend money on owning ti.
This i must say is a rather funky movie, staring good old collin farel, angelina Jolie, Val Kilmer and anthony hpokins, all round its a good story with great acting and alot of wicked cool scenes, alot of people didnt like this the same way they didnt like troy but if you enjoyed troy you shouoold think this is funky
Excellent - the epic scope of the battle of Issus; Val Kilmer as Philip of Macedon.
Good - Anthony Hopkin as Ptolemy; Christopher Plummer as Aristotle.
Appalling - Angelina Jolie's "I vant to suck your blood" Transylvanian accent; Farrell's Irish accent; Farrell's hair; Farrell's pained expressions and long, meaningful looks. Also, trying to follow where we're up to in the story...
On the whole, a sprawling train wreck of a film...
really cool movie, i watched it at the movies with someone who knows more about history than an encyclopedia (maybe a bit fo an exageration) and he pointed out every inacuracy which was annoying but if oyu dont know history this is a wicked movie, excelent stuff from collin farrel (surprisingly) and angelina jollie
alot of people loved this movie but i thought it was shocking, i thought it was collin farrel's (dare devil and phonebooth) worts acting part, angelina Jolie (tom raider movies) wasnt to bad but in general i think it was just meant to live off the movie Troys craze, Do not reccomend it to anyone at all
