Ali G (Sacha Baron Cohen's irony-filled, semi-reverent swipe at British West-Indian musical stereotypes), steps out in his first big screen adventure. Ali G, leading light of the West Staines Massiv, runs a course in a local community centre for local surburban kids keen to emulate his (deluded) gangster dope-ness. When the centre is threatened with closure by budget cuts Ali is persuaded to run for the job of local MP, bringing him to the attention of scheming Deputy Prime Minister (Charles Dance), who is keen to somehow discredit the Prime Minister (Michael Gambon) through association with a loose cannon like Ali. Unfortunately Ali's platform on race relations and immigration proves surprisingly popular, and Ali saves the PM.
Synopsis

This mvoie is helariosu, im not sure whats with the reviewer below but any way, this is so funny, its as stupid as youd expect from an ali g movie which is why its great, epseciallty when hes having some poon in the car with his julie, its got your qverage bad plot but its very funny, the best bit is when hes chained to the fence and gets the nob piolished
Ali G does a pretty good job in a full length movie, despite not having the interviews that his show is all about. Ali becomes a pawn in a political game when used to get into parliment. Good humour throughout the movie makes this easy to watch often. A great comedy, though it is a little crude at times.
This is a hilarious must see comedy starring the one and only ali g, you will never see ali g like this again! You need to add this to your comedy DVD collection, the laughs just keep coming all the way through the movie. The story line is reasonable for such a senseless comedy. The casting was fantastic
this is probably one of my favorite comedys along with super troopers and zoolander. the story is really funny and there are some hilarious scenes which you really have to have a sense of humor to enjoy. i mean its a basic range of gutter humor and what not but its still incredibly funny and well worth a look if you havent seen this before.
Ali G is one funny guy, I love this movie, its so stupid its very simple and very entertaining, at first I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy this movie, but it was soooo funny to be honest! Some sick moments and some dodgy but hilarious bits! 7/10
Hellarious movie, if you liked ali g's TV show (where he did interviews) youll probly like this movie as it uses his stupid sense of humour similar to the show, its so funny when hes trying to protest and gets polished off by a blind man coz hes hand cuffed to the fence, funny funny stuff
