Anatomy is not a scientific theory or a political fashion. It doesn't change from year to year and its position as the bedrock on which modern medicine has been built doesn't alter. It is, quite simply, the study of the way we are made.
This is an interesting documentary about the human body. In each episode there is a dissection by a famous anatomist and a commentary by a pathologist. I was interested to learn more about the body so I watched it - I do have a high toleranc for things like that though, and it's quite graphic so some people may find it confronting. I was disappointed that it didn't go into much detail. The level covered truly was for "beginners" and I'd been hoping to know more. Still, an interesting thing to watch. I bought it on special so it was definitely worth it.
