It's sad and sadistic. But I enjoyed seeing the culture, hearing the language. The story is very simple. I'd say the technique in making this film was really good and a little bit over the top with such a simple story like that. I just thought that at some parts it was quite empty, as all we saw was people killing people, or the hero is being chased by the bad guy, with the suspense of his wive being in a grave danger. Overall, I enjoyed the movie though. Awesome production value!

I watched this movie for about twenty minutes thinking wow this is cool but where is the story well there really isn't one. A village gets invaded and the inhabitants get kidnapped, one man saves his wife and child but then has to break out from under the capturers. The movie is very violent and violent in a medieval kind of way, overall it is an amazing looking film that is worth being seen not sure if its worth owning though.
