A critical and popular success, this reverse angle probe into racial inequality in Australia has developed a considerable cult following. It approaches its subject with humour but is no less effective for that, perhaps more so.
The white Australian lifestyle is seen through (patronising) Aboriginal eyes within a pseudo-documentary format, written by Geoffrey Atherden of Mother and Son fame.
Aboriginal actors Michelle Torres and Bob Maza are supported by a number of familiar faces, including Cecily Polson and Tony Barry, who scored major ABC TV hits in I Can Jump Puddles and his Penguin award-winning Scales of Justice.

I first saw this movie at high school in the 80's and was really happy to re-find it. It is a bit dated in terms of the clothing and sets, but the message is still really powerful- basically, what if white people were living in Australia and Aboriginal people turned up and took over. Challenges some cultural worldviews.
I renjoyed this one, went great with my Extreme Butter Flavour pop corn and my Frozen Raspberry Lemonade. I think that everyone needs to sit down and watch this movie. Great movie for a rainy day and I would definitely put it up there in my top 10 must see movies, I’ll be sharing this with my friends and family. Once again you can’t get it dor a better price then this one! Great work again Fishpond.
