This is a great movie to watch if you want to revisit the past. The early nineties however, was a scary place and I believe that it is best left in the past. This a good movie to watch if you want to see Keanu Reeves when he was a spring chicken, fresh out of the oven. Cringe fest, not for the faint hearted.

There has been something about reviewing movies that I have seen a million times over that unnerves me. When I check my email and add a bit of reviews here and there, how does one say if a movie is good or bad if you have seen it a dozen times over in the course of your life with different perspectives after every view? BILL & TED'S is one of those movies. The acting is sad, yet the characters are charming. The movie feels cardboard yet the pace and plot are perfectly fine. All I can say is that if you are a fan of the late 80s and indulged yourself in saying words such as 'bodacious babe' and 'party on dude' than this movie completely suits you fine.

Two high school 'dudes,' Bill and Ted get in a rut for if they get anything less than a A+ in history, the latter of them will get set off to a military camp in Alaska. This is bad news for the future, for their Wild Stallyns band had made the future a better place.

Bill & Ted are charming dudes who, like the bestest of buds, stick up for one another and that is where the movie shines above others. The character growth between our two 'dudes' and the historical figures they abduct make this movie interesting enough to watch on its own. I was impressed by the sets, as well as the special effects for its time as well, how the phone booth looks like it is grabbed before entering the circuits of time. BILL & TED gets a thumbs up because the movie works with its characters to make you laugh and care about them. Look no more than Genghis Khan dodging the cops.

Keanu Reeves has been tarred with this movie, ever since it was released, it is unfortunate that one 'excellent' performance can damage someone credibility. And it is an excellent performance! The real Keanu Reeves is Nothing like this character, except for a love of heavey metal (but, if Alice Cooper had been your babysitter, wouldn't you?-true fact!) Totally enjoyable, worth a watch!

Great as Wayne's World is, there's no denying that one of its major influences, the gnarly Bill and Ted, is the better of the two. Reeves and, uh, that other guy do a great stoner / head banger impression as they set out to complete a history assignment with the help of a time-traveller from the future (played by the hilarious George Carlin) where the boys went on to be worshipped as Gods. Heavy metal references abound (Jailer: Put them in the Iron Maiden! Bill & Ted, excitedly: Iron Maiden!!) as the pair visit numerous historical eras with hilarious results. One of my all-time favourites.

Back before two unintelligent losers was annoying, there was Bill and Ted. Desiring to be world famous musicians, their dream is threatened when Ted's dad promises to send him to military school if he fails history. With the help of a man from the future they travel throughout time collecting key icons and get into several adventures along the way. An 80's classic, this movie is easy at sucking you in.

This movie is a classic, no matter who has seen uit they have laughed, no matter how much they hate this style of movie,s eriosuly its just so funny, definitly worth a watch if you liek movies like jay and silent bob strike back (exceot its alot older) and waunes world sort of movies

Best Buddy movie ever. In my opinion anyway...

Everyone wishes they had a loyal friendship like Bill and Ted's, you know you wish you did.
And you wish you were in a rocking as band the Wyle Stallyn's!

I grew up watching this movie, when I though Keanu Reeves could act, well he can act as a 'dude', you know like "Whoa! That was most non-non heinous dude..."...

I guess if you like movies like 'Dude, where's my car?', then this might be up you alley. But even if you don't its a classic movie man.

The many adventures of Bill and Ted were a staple diet for many people of my generation when growing up. They coined terms like "bogus dude" which were later used by the likes of many other movies such as Wayne's World. Thiese movies provided us with mindless action and adventures. Gotta watch

This is probably one of the most fun teen movies around to watch, even though the two actors play absolutely braindead characters. Keanu Reeves looks particularly stupid in this movie, and without any disrespect the role actually suits his acting style well.
The idea used here is pretty fun to see unfold though. Having to go back in time with a phone box to research a high school history assignment was more fantasy than reality, and the idea that their influence on the world will change the future is pretty far fetched but it doesn't feel as stupid as it sounds.
Leave your brain out of it and bring along your sense of humour and you'll enjoy this.

This one is a classic, very good for nostalgia factor, and a very good movie in general. I think kids would still like this, so its definately one you could watch as a family and you will all get something out of it. I would recomend this movie to anyone. Also keep an eye out for bill and teds bogus journey.
