With all of 'those' crime shows on tv at the moment, the outcomes become very predictable. If you're looking for something with serious action, nail-biting storylines, sexual tension, twists around every turn, then Bones is the show for you. It will not take you long to relate to one of the characters of the series. Watch as Dr. Temperance Brennan and FBI agent Seeley Booth work together to solve some of the most baffling cases on tv today.
This is a MUST SEE tv show. Make no 'Bones' about it and check this show out!!!

The protagonist, forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan (Bones) is rational, logical, empirical. I like the way that she has difficulty with social interactions, and has to piece them together intellectually and look to others for cues.
I also like her physical self-possessedness. She has martial arts training, and has no qualms about physically defending herself from villains.
Her PhD student, Zack, has even more difficulty with social interactions, to the point of exhibiting autism-spectrum like difficulty with metaphors.
One of my favourite moments from Season One was:
Brennan: X-rays, pictures, we're going to do this without touching the actual skeleton as much as possible.
Zack: Kid gloves?
Brennan: Latex should be all right. [pauses, considers]
Brennan: Zack, were you being metaphoric?
Zack: I decided to give it a shot - which was also metaphoric.
Zack is also the cutest, most endearing geekboy ever. One is torn between wanting to nurture or mentor Zack, and wanting to seduce him.
I like the other characters very much as well - Angela, the artist, Booth, the FBI agent, Cam, the pathologist - and the interactions and dynamics between them.
And the dialogue zings, cracks and sizzles.

Based on the books by Kathy Reichs, Bones follows the work of Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan, a forensic anthropologist at the Jeffersonian clinic in the United States. Usually accompanying Brennan is wise cracking FBI Agent Seeley Booth. Together with her team at the Jefersonian Brennan and Booth use bones and computers to find th eperp and put them behind bars.
