Thirty something Annie (Kristin Wiig) has hit a rough patch but her life turned completely upside down when she takes on the Maid of Honour role in her best friend Lillian's (Maya Rudolph) wedding. In way over her head but determined to succeed, Annie leads a hilarious ensemble of bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarth, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Elle Kemper) on a wild ride down to the big event.

I just finished watching this film. I am a guy, so it wasn't exactly a relation process for me at all. I was very disappointed with this film and did not think that it lived up to its expectations. I haven't seen either Hangover films, and do not intend to just yet - especially if this flop has been compared to it. Its supposed to be the "girl version" or whatever. I must admit, there were hilarious moments, but the whole plot was very weak and lacked any real drive...The bad comedy dragged it down and stole what could have been an unforgettable flick. With a pretty much unknown-actor ensemble cast, Bridesmaids instantly becomes one of those films that you do read the back cover of, despite its obvious attempt at being "classic" which for me will NEVER happen. The whole concept is low and average, and the side stories don't help.
Yeah, I definitely agree with the previous poster. Bridesmaids is fantastic. It has been compared to The Hangover, but i think this should be seen as a movie in its own light, dependent of any comparisons. Great viewing with the girls at a sleepover/girl's night in. Melissa McCarthey is the stand out but i fully respect Kristen Wiig for writing it. She's a great actress too and fantastic cast. Fully worth the price.
Fantastic, I loved it. This one is brilliant and awesome. The kids absolutely loved this movie and now own it and have added it to their movie collection. This one is fabulous scripting and graphics and fun for the whole family. Very funny and great stories, i am quite certain everyone who sees this movie would agree. Definitely a must have.
