What an excellent follow up to thje Original Cult Film from James Cameron. This the The Sequel of all Sequels. It is exactly what is should be, the perfect mix of repeting what we already saw in the Terminator and adding on to the story. The Effect still hold up fantastically today, Linda Hamilton is kickass as the reformed Sarah Connor both Arnold and Robert Patrick are Fantastic. Highly Recommended, probably the greatest sequel ever made, the 1st movie to Cost $100 millin Dollars, winner of 4 Oscars and a Great Sci-Fi Action Movie.
Its old school of course but still worth a watch every now and then for good times sake. it is a great movie with an elaborate story but it still remains relatively believable. Arnie is of course more belieavible in this role than many of his others. Fantasic special effects, guns, action, explosions etc
Sequel to Terminator. Skynet, the 21st century computer waging a losing war on humans sends a second terminator back in time to destroy the leader of the human resistance while he is still a boy. His mother is the only one who knows of the existence of the Terminators, human-like robots that exist only to kill and are nearly indestructible, and Sarah, the boy's mother is currently in a state mental hospital because of her 'delusions'. A second protector is sent back to the past by the Human resistance to protect John Connor, their future leader, at all costs.
The colors from the explosions, night scenes and steel mill look really good. Big improvement over the old one. The scenes where Arnold is shooting at the cops with the mini-gun, then grenade launcher, then the subsequent blowing up of the computer lab are wonderful in high-def with the sound cranked all the way up! Just never gets old!
I liked the 2003 commentary track with James Cameron the most. You know this movie is cool when you watch it, you just don't know exactly why until you here this guy talk through some of the scenes. Rare opportunity to hear one of the greatest film makers ever talk through the whole thing. The attention to detail is incredible. This thing is more than 13 years old and still holds up against most of the modern sci-fi/action movies of today. Highly recommended.
probably one of the best action movies ever, a really cool film, arnold's acting is fantastic and is a well known movie worldwide. ONe bad thing is that soundtrack for the movie i didnt think seemed to match the movie all that well. Perhaps they can change the soundtrack later.
The terminator failed to kill the leader of the human resistance before he was born in terminator 1. Now the machines will try and change history again by killing the leader of the human resistance before he becomes a good plan. To do this an experimental prototype, the t1000 is sent through the time displacement equipment. Standing in for the human race is the cyberdyne systems model 101 aka Arnie!
With amazing chase sequences, miniguns, and humour terminator 2 is one of the greatest movies ever. With lines like “Trust me” and “I’ll be back” this classic film rocks the cinema screen!
Terminator 2 is just as freking amazing as terminator 1 and terminator 3, they are all 100% aweome, this movie has the cool robot that can change shape with the melty metal stuff, for its time the graphics it has is soo unbelievably great, one of arnies classics, i dont know any one who hate these things
Its sucha shame that the third installment of the terminator series was so bad because this one was brilliant. As much a thriller/horror movie as it is a action flick everything works in thei film, even the dated CGI manages to be better than many modern hollywood flicks.
A very well done follow up to the great original, the way they got the caracter of sarah conner to beef up and go all tough was brilliant.the all liquid metal terminator was a bit of BS but all in all a good follow up to the original. After all they rather large boots to fill.
An immensely popular film on its original release in 1991. Swarzenegger is a goodie this time - a re - jigged Terminator sent back to defend a young John Connor from an assassin T-1000. James Cameron goes hard on CGI and action sequences. Arnie cocking the shotgun while riding his harley? Cool... Well worth it; one of the best action films of all time...
