I had forgotten just how good this film is. I thoroughly enjoyed it. What makes it so compelling is the extraordinary story on which it is based. Bouncing bombs! If it wasn't true you would never believe it. That coupled with the bleakness of Second World War Europe and the courage and determination of the people involved, which the film realistically portrays, make this an exceptional movie. It far outclasses the inane dross that Hollywood continues to discharge.

Hard to beat.

a movie of a remarkable raid well told kept me interested through out the whole movie. a well told story of a real event crossing between a made movie and what i take is real movie clips of the time, portays well the drama of the time and what was involved in a very detailed raid and how hard it must have been to carry out, left me with a real appreciation for the soldiers who flew this raid. well worth the watch highly recomend this movie
