This movie brings back a lot of memories of seeing it when I was a little girl (many many years ago) and I bought it to give to my granddaughter who loves girlie movies and I know she will love this one when she gets it.

Hayley Mills is delightful as Pollyanna in this film. When Pollyanna becomes orphaned, she is sent to go live with her aunt. Her aunt is a strict, no-nonsense woman who seems incapable of love. But when Pollyanna arrives in town, so does the Doctor; Pollyanna's aunt's former love. As Pollyanna bespells all the citizens with her happy-go-lucky nature; everyone becomes all the better for it. But will tragedy occur when pollyanna sneaks out of the house to go to the fair?

This movie is hilarious. I have never laughed so much ever. It has great acting, affects, dialogue, and especially superb humour – everything you need in a great movie. The movie does have a few scenes that drag out but all in all it’s a must have for all comedy fans and is suitable for basically all ages. It’s a must have, so buy it – You will definitely won’t be disappointed. Good

A vast improvement on the cutesy, blatantly unrealistic and cliched story on which it is based, the Disney film Pollyanna is a truly enjoyable, BELIEVABLE film. It has a very charming, nostalgic feel to it. The period costumes and sets are very good, and the direction is good, too. The best thing about it, however, are the performances. The talented cast really makes you believe in them and forget they're all stereotypes. Jane Wyman is quite good as Aunt Polly, as are Agnes Moorehead, Adolphe Menjou, and espicially Karl Malden. And Hayley Mills more than holds her own, giving a very good, subtle, believable performance. This Pollyanna does not spend all her time chatting her mouth off and misinterpreting every cold act of her aunt's as an expression of love, which made her very annoying in the book, but rather, she really gets to know people and very subtly brings out the best in them. A truly good family film, much better than the book, and one really worth viewing.

this is a movie is classic and iconic. a great movie for the family to all get together and watch. the actors all work really well together and the characters they play are the ones you either love... or love to hate! i reccomend this movie to all! this is a movie you will watch over and over again. the price isnt going to break the bank so you better get in quick before stock sells out!

I find this to be in many ways like the Brady Bunch. As a child it's an absolutely fantastic film but then as you grow up you still love it for nostalgic reasons but oh how horribly cliched 'white picket fence' it all is! that said for a family movie it is just lovely- you can't help but want to watch it!

halley mills is one of those real iconic child stars that you just have to love due to her cute acting talent. this is a pretty heartwarming story about a girl who is an orphan, and really charms her local town. a great watch with a young girl, as they are sure to really get a kick out of this great drama.

Love Hayley Mills in this one. One of my favourite kids movies, it's actually a great movie that you can watch even when you're older and still enjoy it. It certainly has stood the test of time. The plot is great and it is full of wonderful, even if you're not a kid, watch it with your kids. You won't be disappointed, great script. The whole family will enjoy this one.

Very clean, very delightful, very GLAD! Pollyanna is perfectly suitable for children and probably adults too - especially those who remember and love Hayley Mills! She was perfectly cast in this lovely film which is full of values so important such as hope, love, faith and kindness. She moves to Harrington Town to live with her rich and cold aunt and brings joy and gladness to all those she meets.
