This movie was great! It was an excellent rendition of an ancient myth. The animation was somewhat odd, but nothing new from Disney. It was definitely better than expected for a Disney movie with no singing.

The background animation was magical. It was a different level of work for the Disney people. Some of the characters were a little boxy, but it was more than made up for with the beauty and lushness of the scenery. The music was largely instrumental but that was perfect for the movie. This was definitely not a film that needed the characters to bust into song.

Perfect. 10 out of 10.

A lovely interpretation of this classic story. Milo, the under dog hero, is a wonderful character, with a great supporting cast. Animation, as to be expected, is clever and colourful, done old school, not computer generated images. A good choice for the whole family, funny and not too scarey for the little ones

this is a wicked disney movie! whats even better is that it is based on a real story! you cant get a disney film more gripping than this, as the team search to find the lost city of atlantis... great watch, one the whole family can enjoy, although it might go over some of the little one's heads. good animation too.

This IS the best Disney cartoon ever made. I have no idea why this wasn't as popular as Snow White or anything like that. The Art is crisp and fresh, the story amusing and new, and the music dramatic.

If you haven't seen this film then do. It's the only Disney film that I've watched that I can stand again now that I'm an adult. Absolutly the best.

this is one of the best disney flicks that i have seen! not as popular as some of the other ones for some reason. i feel that it should be, as it has such a great story that is really interesting and fun, and has an element of truth to it too! excellent family watch, all members are sure to be enthralled! love it lots!

This is a really enjoyable movie, and one of Disney's lesser known ones! I would definately recommend for children interested in science or history, as that is a central focus for this movie. The characters are great, and the story really is engaging. Great stuff for a kids movie, but not too high brow for parents. This one is good for those kids with a great imagination!

A beautiful original adventure by Disney, it tells of Thaddeus Thatch, an earnest linguist who dreams to discover Atlantis, and is given the opportunity, albeit accompanied by a rag-tag team of rather mercenary specialists.

This is quite a wonderful movie, with a surprisingly gritty, steam-punk feel to it. The animation is quite beautiful, though not in the regular Disney style; the artwork is more reminiscent of comic books, and adds to the atmosphere of the movie. The plot is an obvious homage to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and is rather lovely and touching. The music and voice acting is strong, with Michael J. Fox expertly leading a talented cast. The themes dealt with here are somewhat harsher fare than what is usually present in most Disney films, so little kids may find certain scenes hard to understand, or scary. Still, it's a sophisticated, well-told adventure tale, with something in it for everyone.

I loved this movie and I think that many other people young and old will love it to. The colour in this movie is brilliant and the characters will make you fall in love with them. A great watch and I would give it five out of five stars for the whole thing.

Okay, its cliched, but its a wonderful movie for both the adults and the kids. The elements that make it a standout is Michael J Fox's part, and the score. The other parts are typical of any B-grade movie but those two parts bring it up a notch.

It also allows kids to see modern day problems of man tampering with other societies, and what can happen in the pursuit for money and scientific fame.

A Great little action-adventure story that will entertain all. For Joss Whedon fans his creative touch can still be seen, with several similarities to the Crew of the Ulysses from Atlanits, and the Crew of Serenity from the Verse.

Packed with making of featurettes, special effects documentaries, interviews with the voice over artists and even an audio commentary. This enjoyable seemingly simple story eventually manages to surpass the typical Disney film by tieing in Long Lost Tales of the World of Atlantis and even a comment on the Human Race.
