FINDING NEMO, directed by Andrew Stanton and Lee Unkrich, follows Marlin (voiced by Albert Brooks), an overprotective clown fish father, as he desperately searches the sea for his missing son, Nemo (Alexander Gould). Marlin's journey leads him beyond the Great Barrier Reef into deeper and darker waters, where he meets Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), a forgetful yet optimistic blue tang, and a number of not-so-friendly--and often very hungry--aquatic creatures. Meanwhile, little Nemo finds himself in a dentist's fish tank in Syndey, Australia, along with other underwater captives, including Gill (Willem Dafoe), the group's scarred Moorish idol leader. As Nemo works with his new friends on a plan to escape their tank, Marlin and Dory swim closer, but they'll need more than just fins to get into the dentist's office.
This fifth computer-animated outing by Pixar continues the company's remarkable winning streak that began with TOY STORY. Like other Pixar films, FINDING NEMO features a story with heart--this time, a father-and-son tale--and thoroughly charming leads--in this case, Marlin, Nemo, and Dory. And, of course, there's an army of fascinating supporting characters, including Bruce (Barry Humphries), a great white shark on a no-fish diet; Crush (director/screenwriter Stanton), a surfer-dude sea turtle; Peach (Allison Janney), a stuck-to-the-aquarium starfish; and Nigel (Geoffrey Rush), a bold pelican. However, what truly distinguishes NEMO from even its CGI cousins is its stunning depiction of aquatic life, from the colorful creatures on a coral reef to a blue whale on the vast expanse of the open ocean. By combining the aesthetic of a National Geographic marine life documentary with clever jokes and Hitchcock references, NEMO succeeds in its bid to up the ante for animated films yet again. And be sure to watch the credits or you just might miss something!

This is one of my favourite animated movies. Although I think this movie is mainly aimed for children I think that all ages will love this exciting movie.
This is a movie about a fish called Nemo who gets lost in the ocean. His dad goes on an adventure trying to find him and all the time on the adventure both of the clown fishes make new friends and learn of the dangers of the ocean.
This is a wonderful movie full of adventure and action.
Think this movie is only for kids? You're wrong :) This is a very intelligent film, which works, because kids can enjoy the comedy, but its a culturally based humour that adults will enjoy as well.
This movie is so cool. Watching how Nemos life unfolds is quite amusing as there is something always happening to him. His dad (Marlon) fights to find Nemo after he is caught by divers. Marlon has to make it to Sydney from the Great Barrier Reef to get Nemo back. On his journey he comes across Dory the forgetful fish who then helps Marlon get his son back. They encounter so many obstacles on their way including Sharks (in which they just about become their dinner), Turtles and Jellyfish. While this is all going on below the sea Nemo (who is in a fish tank in a dentists office) is trying very hard to escape and get back to his Dad. They eventually make back to each other and start heading for home. It is a must see.
A wonderful movie for all the family about a young fish and the relationship with his paraniod over protective father. Meet Marlin as he travels impossible distances to rescue his son Nemo, aided by Dori a fun loving forgetful fish with good intentions. He meets a variety of sea creatures that help him on his way. A nice movie that kids and adults will love
"Finding Nemo" was a pretty good film, though I was not wowed by it so much. However, the target audience was wowed, pretty much across the board. There is plenty for the kids, though there did not seem so much for the adult audiences, except for the interventions Bruce's friends had to make in their shark support group.
The animation and the execution were without peer, and the movie is very pleasing visually. The characters look good and they have excellent portrayals by the people voicing them.
While I would not see it mulitple times, I rather enjoyed this movie for what it was.
A great animation film and kids just love it. But also parents. A great family movie to watch that makes you laugh and have good time. It's about a little clown fish that gets taken away by divers so his protective dad goes to find him and gets into a bit of trouble on the way. A good plot line and great graphics. Highly recomended and everybody enjoys a story about a little clown fish.
Another great Pixar movie. My daughter and I have watched this many, many times. Great characters, some very quoteable lines and dentists will get a kick out of the dental office scenes. My favorite character is Dory, played by Allen DeGeneres, very funny. Highly recommended for all the family, young and old, boys and girls.
Finding Nemo is a lovely movie. It's not entirely as much fun for the adults as it is for the kids, but nor is it the kind of painful experience that sees you wanting to gnaw through the DVD cables just to get some relief ;-) I like the story, the imagination that has gone into this. The animation is wonderful, as you'd expect, and the kids just seem to love it. Excellent!
I love finding nemo, im not so gone on the beginning tho its a little sad for the opening scene but i guess the movie wouldnt make sence without i, its all about a little clown fish with an over protective dad, and he rebels a little and it gets him in a whole lot of trouble, and thats where they start finding nemo!
Finding Nemo and its Pixar predecessors tap into the shared gene among the kids and adults that delights in imagination-engaging, eye-tickling and wit-filled storytelling. You connect to these sea creatures as you rarely do with humans in big-screen adventures. The result: a true sunken treasure. To be treasured for all time I recon
