It took a while for this movie to work, but my daughter loved it. I had forgotten how lovely classic movies really are, it's a great dvd with many twists and turns to keep your children watching. Four Stars for our rating.

A really trippy little movie, this 'Alice in Wonderland' actually combines elements from both of Lewis Caroll's books 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Through the Looking Glass'. So needless to say, if you have read 'Alice in Wonderland', this is really very far from it. But it is a nice movie, that has some really surreal elements to it, not generally the way a disney movie is depicted, really.

Walt Disney's Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite animated films. Some great characters in this one, the smoking caterpillar, chesire cat, the queen of hearts, the mad hatter, and of course that busy White Rabbit. Alice in Wonderland is such a sweet, sensitive and quite risque film, clearly the caterpillar isn't smoking incense but this film is classic, I love it so much. I can't wait til my nephew starts watching this film. Other Disney films I enjoy include: The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and The Lady and the Tramp. I highly recommend Alice in Wonderland, could this movie be any better? I think not.

...and certainly "Pinocchio" had a more popular and memorable song score, but for my money I'd pick "Alice In Wonderland" as one of Walt Disney's top achievements in animation. From Lewis Carroll's story, and filled with knock-out colors (pinks and blues and reds on inky blacks), this episodic tale would not have worked so well if the direction hadn't been so graceful, setting a light, jovial mood, and the songs so tongue-trippingly clever. Alice herself is lovely and funny, the supporting characters appropriately manic, and the quiet moments gently even out the craziness (as with the "Very Good Advice" sequence). Disney certainly runs hot ("Pinocchio", "Peter Pan") and cold ("Robin Hood", "The Aristocats"), but this fantastic journey into nonsense, from a practically-unfilmable book, is endlessly interesting from a visual stand-point. ***1/2 from ****

i loved this movie so much, it really is one of disneys best. growing up with this movie has made me adore it even more, and i highly reccommend it to ANYONE, as it is one of those movies that is a total crowd pleaser for any age. it stays in my memories as one of my favourite movies from my childhood, and i will remember it dearly in my heart forever.

a classic story. a great movie for the family to all get together and watch. the actors all work really well together and the characters they play are the ones you either love... or love to hate! i reccomend this movie to all! this is a movie you will watch over and over again. the price isnt going to break the bank so you better get in quick before stock sells out!

A surreal movie of a surreal book. Disney adeptly brings to life the mysterious and strange qualities of Alice's dream, even if they combine both "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass" - I don't the the movie would be quite as good without Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee! A must for all ages - watch out for the Queen of Hearts!

A Disney classic over 50 years old, this one is still entertaining to watch. Alice follows a white rabbit, who proclaims to be late for something, into a magical world where things are opposites and anything is believable. With infamous characters like the Mad Hatter and the Chesire Cat, Alice In Wonderland is very easy to watch over and over.

Want to buy something special for your kids, than get them a copy of Alice in Wonderlsnd, it is a beloved story of a little girl with a very good imagination. She falls asleep under a tree and dreams up all of these adventures, such as where she meets a cat that bit by bit dissapears and walking cards and mean queens who play craqeut, well overall everyone will love this movie and enjoy it over and over gain.

There are many disney stories that are well remembered and Alice in Wonderland is one of them. It has such a dynamic storyline and wonderful characters. Although it is a little different than the original book I think the Disney version is much better than live TV versions or alternatives. As an adult, this is one of the only movies I enjoy watching (as well as the ride at Disneyland). Worth having in a collection for your kids.
