He's Steve Irwin: Crocodile Hunter. He's Steve Irwin: wildlife crusader. He's Steve Irwin: real-life action hero. But Steve Irwin: International Spy?
A comedy of errors causes the CIA to suspect Steve and Terri Irwin in a case of high security data theft. After a fallen US Government spy satellite is trace to the croc-infested terrain of Far North Queensland, the CIA becomes convinced Steve and Terri are secret agents and have stolen the confidential contents.
Synopsis
Aussie adventurer Steve Irvin (a.k.a. The Crocodile Hunter) has avoided the death-roll and nabbed another feisty croc, hoping to save it from poachers. What Steve doesn't know is that the crocodile is the innocent part involved with a missing top secret U.S. satellite beacon, and the poachers are actually American special agents sent to retrieve it. Crikey!
In the Outback and through the bush with his wife Terri's ever present commentary ringing out over the countryside ("That was a close one, Steve!"), the Crocodile Hunter is out to save the gorgeous croc and relocate him. It won't be easy, but if he can handle bird-eating spiders and venomous snakes without getting bitten, gun-wielding agents shouldn't be too much of a problem. It's a little beauty!

i quite enjoyed this movie. i really liked steve irwin, i was so sad to hear of his passing. this is definitely a must watch for the entire family, and especially those who love animals, and also who are a fan of steve irwin. defintely a movie worth watching, and a fantastic watch for all ages!
From the trailer, it seemed that this movie was (1) a comedy, and (2) had some kind of plot. But upon watching it, you see it isn't so. For one thing, the first half of the movie seems to forget it's supposed to be a comedy! Sure, Steve is doing his usual thing, but you can easily see that on any episode of his TV show. I was expecting that Steve (playing himself) would be encountering situations not found on his TV show, and his reaction to these events would provide the comedy. Nope; the first half of the movie plays (for the most part) like an expanded episode of his show.
The second half of the movie is an improvement, though not by much. There are some attempts at that kind of situation humor, though for some reason it only comes across as mildly amusing at the most. Oh, the plot? Well, just like the first half of the movie, there is barely ANYTHING that can be called a plot, including the ending, which is a real cheat.
As bad as the movie is, none of it is Steve's fault; he was clearly up to anything the production told him to do. It's too bad that pretty much all the movie gave him to perform was dreck.

This movie is hilarious. I have never laughed so much ever. It has great acting, affects, dialogue, and especially superb humour – everything you need in a great movie. The movie does have a few scenes that drag out but all in all it’s a must have for all comedy fans and is suitable for basically all ages. Buy it – You definitely won’t be disappointed Sweet

great movie. kept me laughing the whole entire time. my family and i loved it. if you are in the mood for a bit of lighthearted comedy then this is the movie for you! either rent it from your local video store, buiy it from a movie shop--OR even better, purchase it of fishpond with your points! its such a good buy, you should all go out and watch it!
Not really a fan of the late Steve Irwin but his passion for animals is rather infectious. Storyline is not the strongest but it does have some well timed jokes and slap stick moments. It does have some truely "make you jump" parts where you heart will skip a beat. If you want some lighthearted comedy without the complicated plots and sub plots that the whole family can enjoy I would really recommend this film. If anything a good watch on a cold winters day.
A light hearted film with cardboard thin plot mainly deployed to have Irwin doing what he does best - getting up close with animals and talking about them. A couple too many Australian stereotypes will annoy some, especially since this came out at a time when Australia was tying to get rid of the very label that Irwin was helping to stick on. Still, as long as you don't have your expectations up, this film should deliver.
