– Customer review on 19/06/2007 This show aired on Nickelodean for a while I believe. It was made by the Jim Henson company using puppetry and computer animation, so it goes without saying that it's top-notch. It had it's funny moments, but it was mostly for children and I rarely laughed when watching it. The voice acting is good, and the Henson company did a great job of making the characters and surroundings reminiscent of Dr. Seuss' books. All the stories contain characters from Seuss' books, like the Cat in the Hat, the little cats, Fox in Sox, Horton, Morton (Horton's son), and the Grinch. While watching this I was reminded of another great show by the Henson company called The Animal Show, which aired on Animal Planet several years ago.
Although it is in no way equal to the actual animated movies of Seuss' stories, nor is it half as rhyme-witty, it is still a great tribute to Seuss' legacy. Children and adults alike will find this to be a wonderful and visually appealing show.
