Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix follows a different filming style to the previously released movies. The director has made this into one of the shortest Harry Potter movies yet regardless of the fact that the book was way longer. As a result much of the plot is left out leaving the viewer to watch a clip show of the main points of the storyline. At times the movie feels very dark and washed out. It does feel like that there is minimal colour. Characters such as Ron and Hermione barely utter a few lines as the screen shots jump from one scene to the next without any obvious scene changes. Overall a high disappointment to movie goers and those who have not read the book will probably not understand the plot at all.
I enjoyed all the DVDs from Harry Potter, though the books are by far a lot better. Still a good movie, I enjoyed it. If you're a Potter fan than you'll like the movie.
