This is such a great series, and by season 4 it hass really hit it's stride! There are countless quotes to remember and hours of hillarity on this set. This is a must for all British comedy fans, even those who missed watching it on television the first time around. Highly recommended!
This series was criticized a bit, with some saying it lampooned the fallen... I disagree; if anything, it'stone is anti war, and points out the stupidity and out - of - touch nature of many of the high command... Rick Mayall is awesome in a guest role as RAF Pilot Flash... and the final scene of the final episode is quite poignant and moving... very, very clever comedy... although, seasons 3 & 2 are the highlight for me...
Series four of the show Black Adder is definately the best series out of them all. Series four is interesting and has the original characters in it. The episodes are varied and the story lines are not recycled which makes it good to watch. Black Adder is a recomended series for all the family
Black adder goes forth (season 4) is the best balck adder season, it is when black adder is in the first world war or the great war as its also known) in charge of bladrick and george, man its so funny, baldricks dinners and coffee is soo funny, and the way they make custard, its awesome
This is eaisly on of the best balck adder seasons, this and season 3 are equal first for the best seasons, baldrick is the funniest cook, i love it when he makes captain darling a coffe lol, and when blackadder is looking for the spy in the hospital and intergiates captain darling, great stuff
