Currently this families favourite movie. The tale has great characers and dialogue. A lovely movie for the grown ups to enjoy alongside the children. The values and morals that lie beneath the storylines are significant, but not overdone. Both Short Circuit movies are ones that every family should own. 'Robots' never date and are always appealing and fascinating for kids!
Johnny 5 is back in this equally good sequel. This time he is in the big city, helping his friend get his buiness off the ground. Johnny 5 learns that life in the city is different to the ranch he's been living on, and has to deal with all manners of crooks and theives. If you enjoyed the first film then there is a high chance you'll like this one too, though it does go a little too long for a kids flick.

Sequel to the hit 1986 sci fi comedy "Short Circuit" - fairly run - of - the - mill sequel... the robot heads to the big smoke to help out an old friend with his electronics business, only to fall into the wrong criminal hands... not bad at all...
You can't go wrong with Johnny 5. If you want a movie to make you feel really old and weepy (in a good way:P) this is it! Kids would still like it today as well, so a great family movie. If you get this, also get the first one. Two robot thumbs up
This movie is pretty sweet, though better if you have seen the first one. Sadly it has aged somewhat and isn't quite as enjoyable as when it came out...still if you have a bad case of nostelgia- this might be the cure for you!
This little guy has more life than most actors in hollywood. Growing up in the 80's this was prime watching for kids like me, and I can't imagine that more recently born children couldn't enjoy this more, and others from the series just as much! Also has some great sequences synched up to music, very funky, and I think worthy of cult following!
