Some suburban households have two cars. Some have two houses. But Tony Soprano has two families. This could be why the FBI is going to such lengths to wiretap his home. Why the son of his dear late friend Jackie Aprile is causing him such agita. Why a Russian housekeeper is searching for her missing leg. Why his son is vandalizing school property and his daughter is getting her heart broken. Why his wife Carmela is both consulting a psychiatrist and confessing to a priest. And it's also why Tony Soprano is still seeing Dr. Melfi for his anxiety attacks. It isn't easy heading-up the mob in New Jersey. But that's what puts dinner on the table for the two families of Tony Soprano.
Synopsis
For Tony Soprano, there's no such thing as business as usual. This movie is hilarious. I have never laughed so much ever. It has great acting, affects, dialogue, and especially superb humour – everything you need in a great movie. The movie does have a few scenes that drag out but all in all it’s a must have for all comedy fans and is suitable for basically all ages. Buy it – You definitely won’t be disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For The Sopranos fans like me who has really been looking forward for this game to come out. I think after about 10 minutes of boring game play you'll feel the same as me WHAT A WASTE. The game developers really missed their chance to make a great game out of one of the best shows ever have failed & failed is really an understatement. Even with the real actors voices the game is so boring & just repetitive its almost like you wonder if David Chase said you can use the names & characters but just make everything else nothing like the show. The missions are lame & it seems like a 4 year old made them up,& speaking of missions there isn't enough on this game to call it a game. I beat it in a little over 3 hours & I'm not a true gamer as I just don't play games that much anymore so a true gamer would probably give this game a rating of 1 or maybe no rating at all. The only reason I'm rating it a 2 is because I'm a fan of the show & I collect The Sopranos stuff. So when they quit making this game because it sucks so bad at least I'll have one. To end for people thinking this game is a GTA ripoff it's not at all in fact it would have been great if they had got went to the trouble to try to copy GTA. To sum this up the game is a waste of $40.00.
great show. great premise. great storylines. very compeling viewing. i reccomend to all. definatley go out and get this and watch it or even better, just buy it!!! i totally think that you should wath this. you will def enjoy it. you will nto regret it! love it!!
this is a great dvd set of this tv show. its very compelling viewing with exeptional bonus/extra features. Anybody who was a fan of this series will enjoy this dvd set! yes, it may seem expensive, but it is well worth the money! you will not regret this purchaes. five stars from me!
This third series got 22 emmy nominations... there are some amazing episodes here... Dr Melfi (Lorraine Bracco) is raped, and considers telling Soprano about it in order to be avenged... also, Tony's mother passes, and that provides for a heap of dramatic situations... and the FBI is closing in... a top show, but hard yacker for some due to the foul language and heavy violence, which is contextual in this series...
the sopranos is a television series based on the italian mafia, and the producers of the show have managed to portray it in a convincing way which makes the show as great as it is. fans of movies like the godfather should check this out if you are into the whole mafie, gang type scene.
When I first I saw the ads for the commencement of The Soprano's, I thought it would be more of a boy-type series with violence etc, but surprisingly I thoroughly enjoyed it. Based on an Italian Mafia Group, Tony Soprano just makes it in this series. The music's good, and the acting is actually quite superb. Worth watching.
