Sometimes The Simplest Idea Can Make The Biggest Difference.
Young Trevor McKinney, troubled by his mother's alcoholism and fears of his abusive but absent father, is caught up by an intriguing assignment from his new social studies teacher, Mr. Simonet. The assignment: 'think of something to change the world and put it into action'. Trevor conjures the notion of paying a favour not back, but forward-repaying good deeds not with payback, but with new good deeds done to three new people. Trevor's efforts to make good on his idea bring a revolution not only in the lives of himself, his mother and his physically and emotionally scarred teacher, but in those of an ever-widening circle of people completely unknown to him.

This is another movie with top notch acting from Haley Joel Osment besides the Sixth Sense and A.I.: Artificial Intelligence. You will instantly fall in love with him just by a look into those eyes. Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt also did a spendid job. You either love the movie or hate it but you definitly will remember it.
Loved the premise of paying it forward and think we should all adopt it as our religion. However, I found this film so sicky sweet that I consider making an appointment to see my dentist because I felt sure the sweetness had decayed my teeth. Flat script at times, the acting was over the top a lot of the time. However, having said that I recommend it to everyone so that we can all learn about paying it forward.
This movie was cast so well, all the actors did a superb job of creating a wonderfully inspiring movie that touches your heart. I found Pay It Forward to be a magnificant, beautiful movie with a magificent story that i am sure would relate to everyone in someway. Be prepared to have the tissues handy though! It is heart wrenching, but worth every viewing minute. This movie will make you appreciate everything in your life.
Pay it forward is a beautiful beautiful movie. It is sad, moving and inspiring most of all. Starring Helen Hunt, Haley Joel Osmont and Kevin Spacey, it tells of a boys idea to pay good deeds forward - it is just the most beautiful idea
gosh this movie is incredible!! i love it, it just really tears me up every time i watch it, because haley joel osment really captures your heart, as he is so cute and wants to do some good in the world. he is such an amazing and inspirational little boy. this film is sure to capture your heart, its so sad at the end, gosh. love it!
Ahh, the good old Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt. It took me quite a few goes to get into this movie, and to get the gist of it, but once you do, it can be a real tear jerker. There tends to be a bit of jumping back and forward before you can really get into it, but definitely worth a watch.
Kevin Spacey does pretty well in these feel good movies generally but this one doesn’t really work for me. There is so much cheese factor here that it’s hard to move through and the moral of the story “paying it forward” while admirable just comes across as contrived and fake. Still it’s a good enough movie for a Sunday night that I could give it 2 stars.
this movie is so sad it shows so many great feelings to make you enjoy the movie even more. if you like soppy love movies you may like this, if you like movies where the feelings really come out then you will really love this movie becvause the feelings really do come out i give this movie all stars because it really gets you to like it.
ah very sweet film even if it does have that robot of a child actor haley joel osment. even if it does have him whom i cant stand this movie moves along very quickly and moves from town to town showing the significance and shows just what one young buy can do. a very sweet and moving movie which has a great moral and shows a way people should handle eachother.
