If you're looking for a good spy thriller, then go no further. SPOOKS follows the lives of a group of MI5 operatives whose job it is to protect Britain from threats that most people don't even see coming. Tightly plotted, brilliantly acted and unnervingly intense from beginning to end, this is definitely a must-watch, particularly for those of us who are fed up with flashy American cop programmes. SPOOKS is not afraid to kill, wound, maim and otherwise torment even the major characters, which means it can really deliver on the suspense. 10/10 from me.
I concur with the first reviewer. A fine example of the British Spy Thriller. Made by 'Kudos', the same people who served us up the other great english cop series, 'Life on Mars'.
