I really liked the story line, the characters and the sets!!! I have to say that the set was AMAZINGLY done! The 12 ghosts really have characters too. Everything else just flowed together into this amazing story. And another thing I liked about this movie was that they have great timing to put the humour in and make it really enjoyable too.

this movie is a classic :) i fully loved it! and always go back to watch it again and again and still gives me the goosebumps. its the most original scary movie and basically the ghosts used in this movie was more believeable.. and has a great story.

i fuly recommend this to everyone. a horror fanatic or not! 5/5 for me ofcoursse!!

Arthur and his two children, Kathy and Bobby, inherit his Uncle Cyrus's estate: a glass house that serves as a prison to 12 ghosts. When the family, accompanied by Bobby's Nanny and an attorney, enter the house they find themselves trapped inside an evil machine "designed by the devil and powered by the dead" to open the Eye of Hell. Aided by Dennis, a ghost hunter, and his rival Kalina, a ghost rights activist out to set the ghosts free, the group must do what they can to get out of the house alive.

A suprisingly good modern horror/thriller with a great cast. There are certainly some scary moments in this, particularly the Jackel, so not really recommended for younger viewers. Pretty amazing effects for a medium grade horror, I was impressed. The story was well thought out too and made even more interesting through the extra information contained on the special features of the DVD (although note that you should watch the film first as this does ruin the surprise of each ghost). Very good.

this is a pretty good movie about a family that move into a haunted house. there are plenty of scenes to make you jump, but also some scary things are shown, such as the jackel. tony shaloub got on my nerves after a while, but apart from that this is a great movie that is both scary and has a good plot.

This movie, although predictable is quite enjoyable with a great theme and storyline. Should be liked by most viewers. Thirteen Ghosts involves a team of ghost trappers collecting ghosts to use as a kind of fuel or activation key to run this time altering/shifting device. A rich man is the head of the operation who then sells his mansion or prison for the ghosts to his nephew.

This movie was utterly predictable, but I was still wrapped up in it. I liked the glass made entirely off glass, and the Latin that appeared in the walls. I still find the image of the mother extremly creepy. I watched it in the middle of the day and still found it hard to walk home alone.

a totally creepy movie that had me jumping out of my seat more then once! loved the storyline, want that house, and got the total creeps watching the extra of the true stories of the twelve ghosts captured. watch for the special effects used on the cages, totally stunning. good creep out movie if your trying to scare your mates.

this is quite a cool movie with a unique story line that i can recommend. my teenage daughter and her friends were shreiking as they watched it but i didnt find it too scarey myself. it contains a very interesting and gripping story line. all and all an enjoyable watch.

A pretty freaky movie I have to say. I'm not really a horror person, but this I could just watch. Quite a few freaky unexpected twists and turns that will definitely have you on the edge of your seat. If you like a good horror movie that's not too scary, then this is the one to watch.
