In this era of Hollywood Obsessed Computer Animation made by geeks who could never get a date in High School it is a true delight and wondrous experience to watch this stop motion film made with puppets.Tim Burton weaves a simple tale about a guy named Victor in Not So Merrye Olde Englad who finds himself married to a corpse bride (although she still looks pretty to me).This movie is enhanced by Helena Bonham Carter's vocalizing which makes her character funny, sweet, vulnerable and sexy all at the same time. This movie gets beter every time I watch it and I continually find nuances such as the masterful play betweween light , darkness and shadow which Mr. Burton excells at time and time again.This movie is low budget but has a stellar cast which includes Johnny Depp as Victor, Albert Finney, Richard E. Grant and Joanna Lumley plus the delightful (as always ) Jane Horrocks. The special features are also a "must see". Naturally 5 stars for this masterpiece of film making.

A very good little movie. If only to see the wonderful work that has been put into designing and creating the characters, it is wonderful - they are very emotive and look exactly as they should. Although it isn't the most memorable of films (as far as the story goes), it is still a decent watch, which is nice.

i really enjoyed this movie by the classic tim burton. didnt enjoy it as much as the nightmare before christmas, but it is still definitely on my dvd wishlist. the storyline was pretty good, and the loved the character animation, it is genius!! a great watch for all ages, especially tim burton fans. must see!!

This movie is shithouse. Its very predictable throughout and I was seriously bored. My sister seemed to think it was pretty good, but our tastes are quite different at times. My sister is younger than I, so maybe its a better movie for kids than it is for teens. I'm just glad that we rented it and not bought it! I bought that stupid fish movie a few years back, it was just as bad as this one.

If you watch this film expecting it to be another 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' you will be disappointed. That said however it is another great Tim Burton movie and if you're willing to just watch and appreciate it in it's own right I'm sure you'll love it. AT times the singing does get a little much - but most of the time - you really will love it.;

This is another glorious movie from the more then brilliant Tim Burton. The story line isn't as stong as his work with Nightmare Before Christmas, but still has the same Burton trademarks. The characters of Corpse Bride don't live up to the Nightmare Before Christmas cousins in their quirkyness, but they are still rather engaging and 'pretty'. Brilliant movie for the whole family. Ant Burton fan is likely to think this is just average, but I find it rather cute.

not as good as a nightmare before christmas but good non the less and just what kids are wanting today. however i found the story line a bit to thin for my liking but anyoen can follow it and enjoy this funny and spooky movie.

This movie is great, any fan of Tim Burton will like it especially if you like The nightmare before christmas.
Sometimes all the singing gets a bit annoying but the story is good and has many great quirky bits. Great performances by Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter!

this is another cult classic film by tim burton, who has a real dark mind that is let out perfectly in these horror/ animation films. this is likely to scare those young ones in the family, so is best watched without them, but older fans are sure to enjoy another classic tim burton tale. if you liked a nightmare before christmas, you will probably like this.

Tim burton a go go! i love the puppetry, this guy has a ridiculous mind, and it shows. This is about a man wanting to marry his sweetheart, until one day when practising his wedding vows, "accidentally" marries a dead girl, the thot plickens! Through a series of twists and turns you realise how the girl died, and how he is going to tell his fiance he's already engaged to a dead chick. Good for the kiddies too, not too gory.
