It's been a long time coming this movie. The idea of someone who can jump through space has always been out there, I just wish perhaps they had waited a bit longer. Hayden Christensen's talent is totally wasted in this role. It is a shame that he had no plot to work to. Unfortunltely this movie was a great idea but badly executed. Many will disagree with me but I found there was little plot and it was very annoying and left me really dissapointed. (But it was good to see Jamie Bell looking cool) I expected more from this movie. You can make up your own mind

I think people are overly harsh in their judgment of this film. Yes, I will admit it didn't quite live up to its potential. The special effects, however, were fantastic. The story, while slightly predictable, was well executed and was much better then many other action films. Essentially, its is simply that - an action film. Don't expect Academy Award nominations or amazing dialogue. The action sequences were amazing and very unique. The acting was great. Plus, lets face it Hayden Christensen does make for some good eye candy.

Overall, watch it for the amazing shots of the great in world in which we live (eg Italy, Egypt etc) and for the great special effects. Don't expect magic and you wont be disappointed.

this movie was a big disappointment! I was pretty excited to see this as Tom Hulce was in the cast list on IMDB. when i watched it he was on for 3 seconds at the very beginning. The story line is bad and I feel that Hayden and Rachel didn't have any chemistry at all. Even Max and Anna Sophia Robb did a better job than them! The story line was below average. Jamie Bell did pretty well!
