Veronica used to be one of the popular girls, but it all came crumbling down around her after her best friend, Lilly, was murdered, and her then sheriff father, Keith, was removed from office for naming Lilly's rich father as the lead suspect. During the day, Veronica must negotiate high school like any average teenage girl. But at night, she helps with her father's struggling new private investigator business and what she finds may tear the town of Neptune apart at the seams.

I really like this show. I think it's funny and i like how each episode has a plot of it's own (Veronica solving a case) while it still follows the main plot (who murdered Lilly) throughout the season. Maybe it is a little cliched but it manages to handle serious issues and still be easy watching. I'll watch series 2 and 3.
Well, I’d heard good reviews about this from some friends so thought I’d give it a try. It’s not a bad show, but I do find it incredibly generic and although I dislike the word: juvenile. I could not help while watching the show that I was watching a continuous cliché. Yet, there are obviously people out there that do like it so I’d say give it a go and see for yourself. As for me I won’t be coming back for season 2.
