Dr. Joe Darrow's (Kevin Costner) wife Emily (Susanna Thompson) has died in a bus accident in South America, and he's slowly learning how to cope with her death...until dead and dying patients start to speak to him in his wife's voice. With each new message he becomes more convinced she's trying to contact him, to tell him something important. But what? Is he just insane? Is she speaking to him from beyond the grave? Or is she still alive?

A very original idea for a film I loved it, it keeps you on your feet, it is full of twists that I would never have expected, it is sad at some point but overall scary and strange but it is a great movie so I rate it 5/5 I loved it and it made you think which I said somewhere else I like in movies,

Classic! One of my favourite movies of all time! 5 STARS – No DVD collection is complete without this title amongst it. Powerful performances, superb production value with strong clear direction… a masterpiece. A must see for all movie fans, some might not agree with me but this film with live on for many years after the actors have all but been forgotten!!w!!

I really liked thi thriller. it was really orginal and i kned the idea of all the dragonfly stuff. i would give it a ten out of ten just becuase it was really enjobly and i did not get bored at all through the movie. i reccomend this to anyone who wants to watch a thriller which id different form all the rest A++

What starts of as a pretty disturbing supernatural psycho - thriller ends incredibly upbeat and hopeful... fans of either end of the spectrum may be dissapointed with the opposite ... the eerie stuff may put off those who are into family / lovey stuff, and scare fans won't like the schmaltz... a real mish-mash, but an entertaining enough watch nonetheless...
