This movie was just boring. Jason did not scare me at all so the horror failed and watching this for enjoyment is just dry. Full of Sex and Slashing. Thats about it, and the characters in this movie are sssooooo dumb and empty. Im giving it a 2 because they were alright at developing the behind story of Crystal Lake and Jason... 2/5, Dont bother
The remake of the classic 1980 film delivers the goods kill wise, but falls a bit flat in the storyline department. Some great ideas have been added to this version, and this is probably Jason at his best, but the crude sexual jokes and references feel as if they have edited scenes from an American Pie film in accidentally. You could argue this as being them paying homage to the series, but it probably would have worked better not focusing so much on the old and concentrating on the new.
