I gave this as a gift to my roommate for Christmas, and I don't think I've slept properly since. She is like a thing posessed. There has not been one single night since she was given the box set when she hasn't watched this, very loudly, until the wee hours of the morning. It's 3am now, and she's only just gotten started. Various appeals - sombre talks about my growing insanity, hints and notes left on the TV at night, bribing and even threatening to throw her out have done nothing but egg her on. I'm slowly losing my sanity through sheer lack of sleep; she's becoming like a zombie, simply unable to turn away from the screen.

I fear that supernatural methods have been used in the production of this set. There is no other explanation for her unnatural addiction. She is becoming less and less aware, and I anticipate an eventual total meltdown followed by zombie outbreak. I must arm myself. I must be prepared. Oh wait, I think she's pausomiuha…hhhhhhhhh-

Friends is a timeless comedy series that had unprecedented impacts on popular culture and wider society. Regardless of who your favorite friend was ( Joey, Chandler, Ross, Rachel, Monica or Phoebe) the story lines were always entertaining and at times provocative. It lasted as long as it did because it was a successful formula that makes watching it again an enjoyable experience. A great gift idea!
