I remember this movie from when I was a little girl. It used to scare the absolute crap out of me. It is a perculiar and funny movie . I am not sure who I would actually recommend to see it. It is just one of those classics which everyone has watched. It reminds me of those little furby toys that came out a few years ago. Scary.

Gremlins is a fantastic comedy/horror perhaps best known for its cute and fluffy 'Gizmo' character, who like E.T. has become a pop culture icon of the 1980s. Once the Gremlins come on the scene there are some genuine jump out of your seat moments. Also worth checking out is the sequel which is just as good.

Classic 80's film about young man Billy being given an exotic pet by his father, with three strict rules to follow. Don't get it wet, don't expose it to sunlight, and don't feed it after midnight. Eventually it does get wet, resulting in several other seemingly cute offsprings. Only these ones are a lot more mischievious, and after multiplying further they wreck havoc on the town. Intended for kids, one should take note that this can be scary at times, so parents would be best to take care in buying this.

This is such a "classic" from the 1980s! A great storyline of fuzzy creatures turning into gremlins if they get wet. Good humorous and family entertainment although the gremlins are quite evil and violent when you think about it (little ones may get frightened). Not much on the bonus features.

Darkly funny and actually quite violent if you think about it, this is a good movie, one that I've enjoyed for many years. Watching it recently however, I'd forgotten about the scene in the kitchen when Billy's mum decides to put an end to the evil little critters that seem bent on killing her. Quite horrible really. But Gizmo is just so the cutest sweetest little thing and it's perhaps for him alone that I watch it still. And for Billy of course, good old Billy :-)

Awwwwwww who wouldn't want a little pet like Gizmo, so incredibly cute. But like a lot of cute things, there's a catch. Get him wet and he spawns crazy, ugly little critters intent on destruction.
Gremlins is dark and funny. A great one like Ghostbusters to look back on and laugh at what was probably once scary, but now a laugh.

this is a pretty crazy movie! there are some poor special effects, but i guess they are appropriate for their time. this movie at first bored me, it took me a few watches before i cared enough about the story to want to watch more of it, but once i did i was pretty glad, as this is one funny and weird film! the gremlins were actaully quite scary and weird, i cant say i would like any for myself!

This is a great movie, its an old school horror which is so cheesy its funny, the scene where they jump outa the christmas tree is awesome, back in the days it was probly scary but with what we see on TV today its just good for a laugh as the cuteys start killing

This comedy action horr film from Joe Dante was released in 1984, and came out around the same time as the mega - hit "Ghostbusters." Gizmo is cute, and the Gremlins are gross. The film has some unusually nasty and violent scenes considering its intended audience. Darkly humorous, it led to a sequel.

This movie is more of a children’s film and its also more of a comedy, but any child would love to watch this film. I even I enjoyed it when I saw it on TV. Its special effects could have been better, but that’s not what the movies about. I'd love to have a mischievous little Gremlin of my own.
