Love this DVD, an awesome animation of Lynly Dodds Hairy Maclary stories. Highly recommended for preschoolers.

This is a real basic animated style collection of the hairy stories. I find the music that is repetitivly played throughout each episode really gets on my nerves something cronic. It's like a high pitched flute or something. So the kids might like it but it might drive you insane. Apart from that it is what it is. Someone reading you the story with the drawings cruedly animated to look like they are moving. I have to say though my youngest son still loves watching it so if your kids love hairy they will love this too :)

This is my second time purchasing this DVD. My 2 year old daughter loves it so much, that I decided to buy it as a gift for a friend who has to young girls. My daughter still loves it after watching it many times.

Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy is a long time favourite which delights all children with the vision of these lively animals at play. In written form these stories have delighted not only my children but now, also my grand children - a sure test of a book's staying power is if it can provide joy to successive generations. The animated version is lovely and allows the children to see their favourite characters and hear the delightful stories over and over again.
