This movie really really sucked, even by kids movie standards, lindsay lohan created a not too bad name after freaky friday and mean girls did fairly well, then she got herself into a whole pile of awful roles, this movie deifnitly being one of them, its more of a money making effort than attempt to make a good movie

This washed up boozer ruined an absolute classic. Disney should know to keep classics as they were .... classics. Not to try and jazz them up for a fresh new bunch of rugrats.
Lindsay Lohan ruins everything she touches pity she wasn't in rehab instead of completing this movie.
Herbie movies of old had that greatness about them, like many old Disney movies. This however is an abomination.

Herbie movie started a long time ago and today Lindsey Lohan carried on the series creating a master works, a master piece, classic movie!

I loved it a talking ( Almost ) car, it is a mean racing machine, it is such a great movie i reccomend to every one that reads this, watch Herbie you will fall in love with it!

pretty average movie, really. herbie never really did anything for me in the originals, and that paired with my utter disgust for lindsay lohan was not a good combo. the movie delivered little in the way of laughs, and often relied on slapstick humour rather than clever script writing. i guess that fans of the old ones would like this, but who knows, coz i sure didnt like it.

I watched this movie on the big screen and loved it. I can only vaguely remember the first Herbie movies so wanted to see the new one. Lindsay Lohan does a good job as the main human character.... and Herbie! Well Herbie was just great. I was transfixed and must admit I almost believed that Herbie had feelings! And I'm an adult!!! This is a great movie for kids and adults alike.

Herbie was great, he's back with a vengeance! NASCAR, who would have thought? He's a star! Everyone loves Herbie? Owning a vintage Beetle might make my opinion a bit biased, but believe me they do have seem to personalities of their own. Although his may be a bit over accentuated, that's what makes Herbie Herbie. He's is an icon to any VW fan. I remember seeing the movies as a kid and as silly as they sometimes were, you ultimately end up loving him, providing you are willing to suspend a bit of disbelief. It is wonderful to see him again after so many years. Lindsay did a great job as supporting actress to Herbie lets see him nominated for an Oscar.

arrh this was a complete disaster, it ruined the old classic! i was so anoyed after watching ths move, the completly butured this old movie. Lindsay Lohan is just such a stupid ginger who can not act to save herself. I would have to give this dvd a one out of ten, cause it was just super dull! Booo they ruined it!

this is a prety average remake of an old classic. lindsay lohan does a pretty average job of her role, i think that they should hav picked someone a bit more likeable suchj as hilary duff, but however. an okay watch for those who are big disney fans, but fans of herbie ar probaly going to be a bit disapointed
