I didn't have high hopes when I went to see this film and expected it to be little more than Jessica Alba in a bikini and her friends arguing over some underwater goodies. How wrong I was ! Ms Alba is the only 'big' name in this film but all the actors do an excellent job in building-up and developing their characters. The dialogue and interaction is very good, how the characters relate to each other and how they behave is completely believable and its a really good story. Its starts off slow, setting the scene and introducing characters gradually and then it suddenly begins to accelerate - soon enough there are British gangsters appearing, a bit of piracy going-on, some mystery over a sunken ship and several plot twists. Yes Miss Alba is scantily clad but this is a good thriller with a good story that keeps adding surprises along the way.
Paul Walker yummo!!. Into the Blue is probably if nothing else a good movie to look at. Not necessarily to watch and pay attention to, though it isn't all that bad if you decide to.
Into the Blue has some terrific under water footage as well as some great footage of the area in which it was filmed.
Buried treasure, drugs, sharks, hot bods and beautiful scenery what more do you need out of a film?
Got to love jessica alba don't you? Always looking hot in a bikni! Pauls' not to bad either :P. Overall I enojyed the plot of the movie, not sure if it's great for younger viewers due to killing scences and the cocaine throughout the movie.
Awesome location to be shot at, and gives the viewer an insight to the deep sea hunting that some people do for a living. I certainly enjoyed the movie.
The film has some neat underwater photography, some good stunts, and even a twist or two. But ultimately, it's just as excuse to show off some young flesh. Is that entirely a bad thing? A good dosage of Jessica Alba flesh can warm you up on the coldest winter day.
Here we have young treasure hunters in the Caribbean who find not only a sunken ship carrying gold, but a recently crashed plane full of cocaine on the ocean floor. Naturally, the drug dealer of record in the area wants the coke for himself, and doesn't want anyone getting in the way by searching for treasure near by. The resulting action has numerous gun battles, shark attacks, kidnappings, and acts of machismo. The film is a little long, but the conclusion is worth sticking around for.
A movie designed to be a PG rated perv fest, with a bit of fun stuff like a buried pirate ship, and a lost cargo of cocaine from a downed drug dealer's light plane. In other words, no sex, a few bikini shots, and some not quite seen shootings. You do see some confrontation under the ocean with spear guns and air tanks, directly, however. One plus is plenty of sharks, so you know a few baddies will get eaten.
this is a great action and aventure movie! starred paul walker and jessica alba, and i find it was really well cast. this story told of those two, who thought that they had found some underwater treasure, but of coruse, there are some bad guys who want to get their hands on it too! great watching if you like adventure movies!
I loved Into The Blue movie very much. I'm biggest fan of Paul Walker. It was great to see him having no shirt on him ;o)...And it was good to see him being in water most of time in the movie. I have watched the movie 4 times because I haven't got bored of the moive yet. 5 out of 5 stars.
Set in the deep, shark-infested waters of the Bahamas, four young divers discover a legendary shipwreck rumored to contain millions in gold at the bottom of the sea, they believe their dream of buried treasure has come true. But nearby on the ocean floor, a sunken plane full of illegal cargo threatens their find. The friends make a pact to keep quiet about both discoveries so they can excavate the shipwreck before a rival treasure hunter uncovers their secret and beats them to the gold. But their plan goes awry when they realize dangerous smugglers are already closing in on the missing plane, and one of the friends makes a fatal decision that quickly turns the treasure hunters into the hunted.
