It is tradition for all young witches to leave their families on the night of a full moon to learn their craft. That night comes for Kiki, who follows her dream and embarks on the experience of a lifetime.
With her chatty black cat, Jiji, she flies off to find the perfect spot in a faraway city. There, a bakery owner befriends Kiki and helps her start her own business: A high-flying delivery service.
Follow Kiki and her journeys on a world of fun-filled escapades and new friendships, including one with Tombo, a boy who dreams one day of flying.
Rarely has the animator's art been so brilliantly rendered as in this delightfully imaginative film that will entertain boys and girls everywhere.

A good film for all ages. Watch the Japanese version with subtitles rather than the English dubbed version. My kids are Studio Giblhi fans and enjoyed this film although they think is was not as good as some of the others eg My Neighbour Totoro and Spirited Away.
This is a good movie with pretty graphics and a simple, enjoyable story line. It's all about Kiki, a young witch who works at a bakery and helps to deliver things on her broomstick. Along with a cute little black cat, they go on many adventures and make new friends. This is really made for children; there is not much violence or fighting in it all. A nice treat for the kids on a rainy day.
A wonderful little film from the studio that offered other such greats as 'Spirited Away', 'Laputa: Castle in the Sky' and other such greats. Follow Kiki around as she learns to fly on her broom, delivers things here and there for the bakery, and befriends a young boy. As with all studio ghibli films, you can expect a beautiful immersive film experience.
this movie was cute, kiki is a little witch who is out on her own, she meets a strange cat and does deliveries, i really thought this movie was cute, but i like all these movies, but if you havent seen it you must. It’s a great movie I do recommend.
This is an adorable film, and unlike some of Miyazaki's offerings, is highly suitable for children. Kiki is a great heroine and role model, and the story of her struggle to become a real witch is very sweet. As with most Miyazaki films, this one is populated with a cast of quirky characters, including a cat (with the voice of Phil Hartman), and has some beautiful imaginative sequences, especially towards the end. Definitely worth owning.
