The Fellowship's journey is coming to an end. Sauron's forces have attacked Gondor's capital of Minas Tirith in his final siege against mankind. Watched over by a fading steward, the once great kingdom has never been in more desperate need of its king. But will Aragorn find the strength to become what he was born to be and rise to meet his destiny?
As Gandalf desperately tries to move the broken forces of Gondor to act, Théoden unites the warriors of Rohan to join in the fight. Even in their courage and passionate loyalty, the forces of men – with Éowyn and Merry hidden among them – are no match against the swarming legions of enemies raining down on the kingdom. With each victory comes great sacrifice. Despite their great losses, The Fellowship charges forward in the greatest battle of their lifetime, united in their singular goal to give Frodo a chance to complete his quest. Traveling across treacherous enemy lands, Frodo must rely increasingly on Sam and Gollum as The Ring continues to test his allegiance and, ultimately, his soul.

Lord Of The Rings - The Return of the King is the third installment to this epic tale, another great masterpiece, make sure you watch the first two in order before you even attempt this one! another long adventurous add to the story bringing closure to the storyline, this is another one of those must see's in one's lifetime, dont be afraid to start watching for fans of action adventure and fantasy!
Again, as far as I am concerned the extended editions of the three Lord of the Rings films are the true film versions to see. This original theatrical edition of the concluding film of the trilogy is still superb and a very fitting end to a great film trilogy. But it's not quite as good as the (4 hour) extended version.
The final installment of the Lord of the Rings and personally the best on of them all. The war is the best how Eragon has to go and get the help of the dead on his side so they can go free after the deed they do for the King. This is where Frodo gets rid of the ring and finds all his friends again. Excellent movie fantastic 100% 10/10
amazing, incredible, and full of awe, this movie was the best!! it definitely did not dissapoint any fans of the trilogy, and the special affects were best ever. it was a truly amazing series, and it makes me proud to be a new zealander!! go nz! amazing movie, must see for everyone!! LORD OF THE RINGS! well i dont think you can say anything bad about this film! i live in newzealand and i am SO proud to be a newzealander! peter jackson did such a phenomenal job as director and together with all the talented actors and crew, they created the greatest series in history!! definatley go out and buy this because the ROTK is super good
3 and a half hours long!
I'm used to movies going for one and half hours, but this is just gigantic. It's worth it, the entire movie is exciting, this has some of the best special effects I have ever seen (the Olliphaunts on the battlefield are very well done). The third and final movie in Peter Jacksons trillogy, contains the parts missing from the end of the 2nd movie. The story here might be difficult to follow if you have not seen the previous 2 movies. One of the best movies of all time, very true to the Tolkien novel.
The final installment of Peter Jackson's vision of Tolkien's classic epic fantasy. This one is pretty good, like its two predecessors; the production values are very impressive, with the sets, landscapes and costumes all stunning, adding very well to the epic atmosphere of the movie. The CGI and special effects were also very well done, the cast was largely very good in their roles, and the pacing was also very good in this one, with lots of action and plot advancement. The only complaint is that there seemed to be a lot left out that shows up in the original story, and there are changes that seemed unnecessary and out of place. I have heard that the extended version fixes this somewhat in any case, this theatrical version is an ultimately satisfying conclusion despite its flaws.
I can't believe no one has reviewed this! This is one of the best movies of all time. And a great movie to fit into the trilogy. It ties up all the loose ends of the Lord Of The Rings 1 and 2 and you find out what happens to the ring and the fate of mankind! It is awesome acting and scenery. The specal effects look real and the actors did a great job.
