The third season of this series was one of my favourites and is a great season but Claire's shock death was disapointing but the series had to continue and this 6 disc presentation is a personal favourite and a great watch during a rainy day or any day
i'm not really too fond of this show. the best episode that i have watched in this series is teh ep where claire dies, and i'm pretty sure it's in this season. so, if you are going to buy a season, buy this one, it's probably the best. an okay aussie drama, nothing special in my opinion.

forget the invective of the previous reviewer - obviously not all TV shows are for all tastes, but this one is very popular... In 2004 & 2005 it was the most popular drama on Aussie television, and it is now in its sixth season as of 2007... so somebody must like their "annoying accents"... endearing characters, and women endeavouring to make it in what has been a man's world... great TV drama...
the third season of mcleods daughters is the end of an era. it is the last season in which tess and claire will ever be together and the bittersweet short relationship between claire and alex. claire is pregnant with peters child and during a horse race she gets badly injured and tess is forced to tell the ambulance staff and peter that she is pregnant, to save claire alex owns up to being the father and this brings them closer throughout the season. towards the end they finally get together but it is cut short by the untimely death of claire, leaving baby bom without a mum and the whole family shattered. it is the last good season ever, a definate must have.
This is the last good mcleods daughters season, at the start claire is pregnant, during the season she has her child, names it bom and at the end she meets her death, we have the funeral and thats where the good mcleods daughters ends, very good and sad season
i cant stand mcleods daughters!!! their accents are annoying, they live in the shitty out back, the storyline sucks and tes is so so so ANNOYING!!! garr dont watch EVER! and it wasnt even sad when whats her name died i was happy that one of them finally died. Im surprised the show has lasted this long because i dont see how people can stand to watch it!
