Chief Inspector John Barnaby replaces his cousin Tom Barnaby. He is different in his approach as he uses psychology more. Tom was a hard act to follow but John is doing a great job and the new stories are great and the countryside is still as breathtaking as ever - even if the locals do have a sinister side.
