All six episodes from the second series of the Dublin-set sitcom depicting the life and times of Mrs Agnes Brown (played by writer/director Brendan O'Carroll) and her unruly brood. In this series Cathy (Jennifer Gibney)'s new boyfriend Professor Clowne (Mike Pyatt) is fascinated by Agnes's odd behaviour when she swallows what she thinks are heartburn pills. If you love comedy, don't mind a few naughty words or constant innuendos then this is the perfect show for you.
Widow Agnes Brown(Brendan O'Carroll)and her children are a truly dysfunctional bunch; not your typical Irish family.Agnes is overly protective of her children and would do anything to help them out;she takes the bull by the horns as it were and gets into all sorts of tricky but hilarious situations She is their "Mammy" and family comes first.
Although the show is scripted O'Carroll at times takes improvisation to another level by using the live audience,the actual set and the production crew as part of the action.
I love this show and it never fails to entertain.
I am looking forward to the live stage shows here in Australia the first half of next year and can't wait to see what Agnes and her colleagues have in store for us.
